Required reading for every member

Safety & Security

How we protect your money, your data, and your competition — and how you protect yourself while you compete.

Every membership purchase begins here. Read this page in full before you pay, and keep it as your reference throughout your season. It explains exactly what we do to keep members safe, what we will never ask you for, and what to do the moment something feels wrong.

Do not buy until you have read this

Membership is a monthly, recurring purchase. Payment is handled only by Stripe on this site, and only from the membership page below. If anyone offers you a membership anywhere else, it is not ours. By completing checkout you confirm that you have read this page and will follow it.

Safety and security topics

  • Purchase a membership only from this website. Every payment is processed by Stripe on an encrypted checkout page.
  • We do not sell memberships through social media messages, "agents", resellers, or third-party marketplaces. Anyone offering one there is not authorized by us.
  • Prices are listed and billed in US dollars per month. Converted prices are estimates — the exact amount is shown by Stripe before you confirm.
  • If a charge looks unfamiliar, contact our support line first so we can identify it. Filing a dispute without asking can interrupt an active membership.

  • Card details are entered directly with Stripe. We never see, request, or store your full card number.
  • No one from Standards Competition will ever ask for your card number, a one-time verification code, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or a wire transfer.
  • Never send money outside the official checkout to "unlock" a rank, a tournament entry, a prize, or a faster review. Every legitimate fee appears in checkout.
  • Keep your Stripe receipts. Recurring billing can be cancelled through support or from the link on your receipt.

  • Use a strong, unique password for Standards Competition, ideally created and stored in a password manager. Never reuse your email password here.
  • Do not share your sign-in with anyone — including teammates and coaches. Every action taken on your account is treated as yours.
  • Sign out on shared, school, or public computers, and never leave a session open on a device you do not control.
  • If you receive a sign-in notice you do not recognize, change your password immediately and tell support.
  • We will never ask for your password, in any channel, for any reason.

  • Our only official website is standardsarenapro.org, and our only support numbers are the two published at the bottom of every page.
  • Be suspicious of urgent messages demanding payment, threatening account deletion, or offering prizes you did not enter. Stop and verify before clicking anything.
  • We do not request identity documents, bank details, or passwords by email or direct message.
  • Report any message that impersonates us. Send it to our support line with a screenshot rather than replying to it.

  • We collect only what is needed to run your membership: your name, email, division, competition results, and payment status. We do not hold card numbers.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • Your profile is shown to other members at the level the platform allows. Never post your home address, phone number, school schedule, ID documents, or passwords in a profile, team chat, or live stream.
  • You can ask support for a copy of your data or for your account to be closed and your data deleted, subject to records we must keep for payments and legal reasons.

  • Treat every member with respect. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, and bullying are violations and are removed.
  • Share personal details carefully in team chat, forums, and match streams — once posted, they can be copied or screenshotted by anyone.
  • The platform never requires you to meet anyone in person. Any official event is announced on this website; anything else is not ours.
  • If you choose to meet another member offline, tell a parent, guardian, or trusted adult, meet in a public place, and never go alone.
  • Adults must never attempt private contact with a minor outside official, moderated platform channels.

  • Members under 18 should have a parent or guardian review the membership agreement and approve any payment before joining.
  • Competition profiles for minors never display direct contact details, and private messaging between members is moderated.
  • Educators and coaches registering a team act as the responsible adult contact for that team and are expected to supervise participation.
  • Any concern involving a minor is treated as a priority. Report it immediately through the support line.

  • Do not share live questions or answers, collude with opponents, use automation or answer software, or compete on another person's account.
  • Your division and competition level must reflect your real standing. Misrepresenting your level to win is a violation.
  • Suspected cheating can be reported confidentially through support, with match details if you have them.
  • Violations may result in warnings, removed scores, suspension, or account termination. Memberships terminated for integrity violations are not refunded.

  • Stop immediately — do not send more money, information, or replies to anyone pressuring you.
  • Take screenshots of the messages, page, or charge, and note the date and time.
  • Change your password if your account may be exposed, then contact our support line.
  • If you have lost money to fraud, contact your bank or card issuer and your local authorities as well as us.
  • For an emergency, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States, call 911.

Report a safety or security concern

Safety reports are reviewed before routine enquiries. Describe what happened, include a screenshot if you have one, and tell us the account or match involved. If you believe a minor is at risk, say so in your first message.
